Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Control access; verify employee/visitor credentials; issue/retrieve temporary badges.
Staff lobby/console; monitor cameras/alarms; escalate per SOP; coordinate with first responders when required.
Conduct interior/exterior patrols (doors, stairwells, docks, MEP spaces); identify and document hazards.
Produce timely, precise Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports; preserve evidence when applicable.
Support emergency procedures: medical, fire, evacuation, shelter-in-place.
Maintain disciplined radio comms and thorough shift hand-offs.
Minimum Requirements (must meet all)
Experience: 5–10 years professional security experience (corporate/campus preferred).
Licensing: Active California BSIS Guard Card (unarmed).
Medical: Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
Availability: Consistent day-shift coverage 08:30–18:30 with overtime capability when needed.
Technology: Proficient with smartphones, incident-reporting apps, and email.
Background/Work Authorization: Background consistent with role; authorized to work in the U.S.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to Foster City.
Preferred
Site lead/supervisor experience; de-escalation training (MOAB/Verbal Judo or equivalent).
Control-room/CCTV console and visitor-management experience.
Physical & Environmental Expectations
Stand/walk for most of a 10-hour shift; patrol several miles per shift.
Climb stairs; occasionally lift up to ~15 kg.
Work primarily indoors with periodic outdoor patrols.

Interview Process
Two-step interview process, first a phone screen to go over the position and experience. The second part would be an in-person interview at our Pleasanton office. Candidates normally hear hear back from us within 2 days of your interview, whether you’re selected or not. You will receive an electronic Non-Disclosure Agreement to sign before your video interview.
